THE DARTMOUTH CLUB of the Plainfields, Inc., is so wrapped up in the political, social and financial life of Plainfield that we cannot hold a meeting. The affairs of the city are so intertwined with our local alumni that you can get a quorum at about any Bar Association, Political Meeting or session of the Common Council.

One of the lawyers will bring in a bequest one of these days large enough to support a stipend of $500 a year; even though the banks pay only 1 1/2% on the corpus.

The crowd is very proud of Loren Dilkes' progress on the undefeated team.
