The Sanborns were booked for several weeks at Ormond Beach, Fla., Hotel Coquina, for late February and early March. Frank expected to visit Wentworth at Lakeside Inn, Mt. Dora, and Gage at St. Petersburg. Gage's address is 130 4th Ave. N. In January Gage spent a week at Miami, stopping at Hotel Venetian, run by Hen Teague and Perry Fairfield Welch is supposed to be in the state, but has not been heard from since Dec. 30. .... Knight was scheduled for his usual winter trip to Florida, but a temporary illness in January may have changed his plans Winn reports that his wife had a serious illness early in the winter, and that he himself was not well, suffering from colds and influenza. He wrote that the local orange crop was disappointing, fruit undersized and low in price The other western men have not written recently A letter from Edwards Emerson 'B4 expressed his interest in the class, and mentioned that once during college days he served as principal of K. U. A. at Meriden when Charlie Eastman was a pupil and came under his instruction. Shelton was a pupil the same year.

Mention of Sargent's children was made in a recent issue. Now comes a letter from him under date of January 15, containing an account of his life to be used in the coming fifty-year booklet, also interesting comments on public matters of current interest. From his residence abroad since 1908, part of the time in London and a part in different nations on the Continent, his international viewpoint gives value to his judgment. The letter was his first message to the class for several years, and closes with an extension of compliments and best wishes for the new year, to be spread among the living members and brothers of 'B7.

Later.—A card from Gage reports that Mrs. Conn has been ill, and in consequence their trip to St. Petersburg was postponed. The annual Dartmouth dinner there was set for March 3 Junkins and Cushman attended the annual Casque and Gauntlet dinner in Boston.
