ALUMNI COUNCIL NOMINATIONS MADE; COLLEGE GETS BEQUESTS;PRESIDENT'S SCHEDULE AND ALUMNI DINNERS LISTED

The secretary of the General Association of Alumni, Sidney C. Hayward '26, announces the results of nominations for filling vacancies on the Alumni Council at the expiration of several terms of office on June 30. Nominations closed March 10.

There are several cases of reelection of present incumbents in Council memberships to the customary second term of three years. This situation exists in five of the six Council districts of the country.

In District I (New England States), Richard E. Pritchard '14 of New Britain, Conn., who is now president of the Alumni Council, has been nominated for reelection. In District II (Middle Atlantic States) Sumner B. Emerson '17 of Philadelphia has been nominated for reelection; in District III (Central States) Fletcher R. Andrews '16 of Cleveland, Ohio has been

nominated for reelection; in District IV (Middlewestern States) Horace G. Hedges '11 of Cedar Rapids, lowa has been nominated for reelection; and in District V (Southern States) Warren C. Kendall '99 of Washington, D. C. has been nominated for reelection.

In District VI which consists of the Rocky Mountain and Pacific States, David E. Bradley '03 of Los Angeles has been nominated by the alumni of Southern California for a first term of three years on the Council. Mr. Bradley's nomination is not contested by any other nominee and he will, accordingly, be declared elected in June.
