Mrs. Gray Dies

Mrs. William R. Gray, wife of the late dean of the Tuck School, died in the Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital on February so after an illness of several months. She was 59 years old. Dean Gray, a life trustee of the College, died at the Hitchcock Hospital on March 31, 1937, at the age of 57.

Mrs. Gray, the former Lucia M. Shattuck of Burke, N. Y., had been a resident of Hanover since 1905, the year in which she and Dean Gray were married. She was active in community and charitable enterprises, particularly the Hanover hospital, of which her husband was president up to the time of his fatal illness. Funeral services were held on February 22 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Hanover, with burial in the Hanover cemetery, where her husband is also interred.
