1915's Second President
December 1939 LAWRENCE A. WHITNEY

Dear Classmates:

It hardly seems possible that twenty eight years have slipped by since we first trudged up the hill from the Norwich and Hanover railroad station to embark on the greatest adventure of our lives.

The world in its present turmoil and chaos will affect us in varying ways, but come what may, the associations and memories of our life in Hanover can never be taken away from us.

Let us anticipate and plan for our twenty fifth Reunion next June, so that we may renew old friendships and relive the happiest days of our youth. Let nothing prevent us from grasping this opportunity of tightening us so firmly together as a class and as loyal sons of Dartmouth.
