CONNECTICUT WAS PROUD to play host to the green-shirted gridiron warriors that Mr. Blaik at als let loose in Yale's Bowl on a memorable November day not so long ago. Prior to that now cyclonic meeting when an irresistible force met a highly movable object Nutmeg alumni huddled here and there seeking solace and offering prayers for the undermanned Indians soon, so we were told, to be demoralized by Old Eli's giant forward wall. But that Saturday night the welkin rang and the faithful of the tribe rejoiced because their braves had dealt destruction upon their friendly enemies of New Haven Town.

Thursday evening before the game Whitey Fuller—Dartmouth's Athletic vitaphone got wound up at Bridgeport and in a delightful monotone had the gang rolling in the aisles and in the next breath keyed to a high pitch" over the season's accomplishments and the manner in which our coaches have handled their charges and developed a grand team with mediocre prospects. The miniature Cunningham both in looks and income (see Time recently) concluded his remarks in Hartford on the following night and the same effect was produced. Fairly large crowds attended both performances—in all a total of nearly one hundred.

Among other things movies were exhibited and Hartford had its own Jack Kenny '35, present, captain of the first victorious team over Yale—that gallant outfit which the jayvees fearing mayhem refused to play the week before the game. Also Harry Ellinger was an honored guest and a willing speaker.

New Haven gathered under the enemies' nose on the same Friday night and Mel Wax, Sports Editor of The Dartmouth, ventured to remark upon the football situation. Football movies supplemented the fine effort of the speaker.

New Haven seems to be having trouble finding a president. First Ed Pastore '3l, who was elected, moved out of town, next George Lane '29 was chosen but was unable to serve and finally Ed Cole '26, last in the succession but not least, was elected and .will serve. Good luck Ed.

Stamford's barbecue on October 11 was a very successful event I am told by Ev Robie. Steaks, footballs and beer filled the air and at one time or another all three contrived to bring most of the participants to earth.
