A SHORT-WAVE BROADCAST of the Dartmouth-Yale game brought a good turnout of the alumni of both colleges. Several members of the Dartmouth Club had seen the 33-33 tie in 1931, as well as many Yale victories, so this game was really a treat for them. These joint meetings with other alumni organizations have been uniformly successful and we are planning more of them.

Officers for the year were elected a few weeks ago. R. A. Wesselmann '27 is the new president. He is assisted by Samuel G. Carson '34 as vice president, Frank W. Parmelee '34, treasurer, and T. H. Harbaugh '35, secretary. Also on the executive committee are William K. Daniells '34, Stanley M. Mauk 'l9, and Arthur R. Smith '25. One of the first acts of the committee was to send out a question-naire asking the sixty or more Dartmouth graduates in this area what type of club programs they would support during the coming year. The response was enthusiastic. There was agreement on one thing particularly—that we would like to have some college officer come here to talk to the Toledo alumni.

William H. Pope '22, Bill Daniells, and Ted Harbaugh interviewed about a dozen boys last spring who had applied for admission to Dartmouth. Several are now at Hanover in the freshman class. Lloyd S. Holton and Charles E. Swartzbaugh are from Toledo. Robert E. Field comes from Tiffin.

Plans for the near future include a luncheon during the Christmas holidays attended by students at home from Dartmouth and by new applicants with their fathers.
