The REILLY AND LEE COMPANY of Chicago have recently published a book EdgarA. Guest Says it Can be Do?ie. In this book there are two chapters of interest to Dartmouth alumni. Hot Tomatoes tells of the experience of Walter and Thornton Snead of the class of 1933 who were forced to leave College for financial reasons. Now they are the very successful producers of Morning Glory Tomato Juice. The other chapter entitled The Barnum of Bugdom deals with the work of Frank E. Austin '95 in making ant palaces and other insect houses.
The December number of APPALACHIA contains an illustrated article by Harrison Butterworth '41, Second Ascent of Devil'sTower. This second ascent of this famous peak was made by the author and Jack Durrance '39. The same number of the magazine also contains an account of the thirteenth ascent of Mount Robson in Canada. One of the men making this ascent was another Dartmouth undergraduate, Chappell Cranmer '40.
