THE CLUB swings into its winter season by scheduling two of the finest get-togethers it has been our privilege to present. The gth of March the annual dinner of the Club will be held at the Montclair Golf Club. Due to the efforts of our Pres., Charlie Bishop, we have been able to secure Prof. Foley of the History Dept. and Bob MacLeod as our guests for the evening. Bob needs no introduction to any gathering of Dartmouth men. Prof. Foley has delighted alumni audiences with the humorous twist he gives to Hanover news and events.
The annual Glee Club concert and dance is scheduled for Saturday night, April 1, at a place as yet not decided upon. In presenting a concert again this year, the Club is carrying out the expressed opinion of many of the alumni in this section that this affair should be made an annual function. In the past it has been the most successful affair that we have sponsored. Since the 1939 edition of the Musical Clubs is particularly good, we are expecting an even finer turnout than last year, when there were over four hundred people in attendance.
Detailed announcements of both of these parties are being mailed out to all the alumni residents in Northern New Jersey.
