WE CELEBRATED Dartmouth Night in characteristic fashion on March 9 at the Columbia Club. Experiences were exchanged at dinner and the jovial spirit reigned thereafter. President Hiram McKee '27 conducted an informal business meeting at which time final arrangements were made to entertain Dean Herluf Olsen of Tuck School at a dinner meeting on April 6. Dean Olsen will address the alumni organization and a few guests on the subject "Prospects of Full Recovery." Invitations are to be extended to the alumni in nearby cities as well as fathers of present Dartmouth students and prospective fathers. We feel that this talk will do much towards increasing the prestige of Dartmouth College in this community.
It was unanimously decided that our organization would sponsor an annual trophy to be awarded to the outstanding student athlete at Park School each year. Negotiations are underway to make this community more Dartmouth conscious.
Movies of the 1938 Princeton and Cornell games were shown. Doc Kelly '97, former football star at Dartmouth, was particularly gratified in seeing these movies because they more or less supplemented his view of the 1938 team. He was on hand at the Harvard and Yale games so was able to make pertinent remarks about the method of play. Bob Sweeney '34, former Dartmouth footballer, gave us the benefit of some of his pearls of wisdom on line play. All other activities of the evening were informally conducted far into the night.
