Gage lingered in Florida until May 2, and on return expected to represent the Florida Association at the secretaries' meeting at Hanover. The class was represented by Junkins, as for many years Joe Willard's family continues in residence at State College, Pa. Mrs. Willard worked for 11 years after Joe's death, but now keeps house for her daughter, who teaches microchemistry in the college. The daughter has been the recipient of many scholastic honors. Her brother, Edward L. Willard, graduated from the Harvard Law School and is practising law in town. He married, Feb. 9, 1935, Miss Julia May Hill, of Cambridge, N. Y. A son, Joseph H. Willard, was born March 20, 1938. Mrs. Willard has served on the county relief board, and reports a good demand for relief, radios, and automobiles. Her address is 363 West Ridge Ave., State College, Pa. .... Mrs. George E. Johnson writes that her family are all well and flourishing: Stephen is credit manager for J. E. Goodell and Cs., Portland, Me. He has two children: Rachel (Mrs. Harry T. Goerger) lives in West Englewood, N. J.; Lucy (Mrs. Elden C. Shoup) lives in Ftamingham, Mass. Mr. Shoup is manager of sales department of Denison Company. Katherine continues in service as a librarian in Lynn, Mass., public library. There are altogether six grandchildren Welch writes (April 5) that he spent the winter better than he thought he would, but hoped in the future to go south in cold weather.
