At the 47th Annual Cadet Drill and Ball of the Deering and Portland High Schools, held in the Exposition Building in Portland, Me., on April 22, Captain F. Eugene Cofran, son of Frank Cofran, was given a medal as outstanding officer. He is also color bearer in the Deering Band. Eugene graduates from Deering High School in June. Frank—"Coffee"—is now living in Portland.
