HANS PASCHEN, Tuck School graduate in 1928, will succeed J. Willcox Brown '37 as general manager of the Dartmouth Outing Club, starting July 1, it was announced early in May by the D. O. C. board of trustees. Brown, who has been manager for the past two years, has tendered his resignation in order to take up graduate study in forestry and economics.
Paschen, who founded the Dartmouth Outing Club of Boston following his graduation from Tuck School, was born in Germany and came to this country as an exchange student in 1926 to study banking. Now a naturalized citizen of this country, he has been with the investment banking firm of Paine, Webber and Company in Boston since leaving Hanover. He was married in 1933 to Miss Margaret M. Fairbairn, a graduate of Wellesley College, and has two young daughters. He was a member of the Dartmouth Chapter of Alpha Sigma Phi, now incorporated into the local fraternity Gamma Delta Chi, and for several years has served as Alumni Fund class agent for Tuck School graduates.
