DEAN E. GORDON BILL was the official representative of Dartmouth College at the Bicentennial Celebration of the University Pennsylvania during the week of September 16 to 21. Two undergraduates, Robert W. Harvey '41 of Long meadow, Mass., and Roscoe V. Lewis '41 of Roslyn, N. Y., were also present at the bicentennial program as delegate from the Dartmouth student body.
Dean Bill attended the Alumni Day' exercises, the luncheon given by President Gates in honor of delegates, the 200 th An niversary exercises at which President Franklin D. Roosevelt delivered an address and received the honorary Doctorate of Laws, and the concluding bicentennial ceremonies which included academic procession and the reception official delegates. Dean Bill presented to President Gates of the University of Pennsylvania the formal, inscribed greeting' Dartmouth College, bearing the of President Hopkins and the imprint the great seal of the College.
