Long Island

ABOUT ONE YEAR AGO the Long Island . Alumni Association was organized, and like all new groups we have had our troubles getting the Islanders together. We seem pretty well established now, but if we have missed any of the alumni on the island, we hope they will get in touch with us.

Our next party will be a dance at the Garden City Hotel on November 30. We hope to put this dance over in such a way that a Long Island Scholarship might be established from the proceeds. We would like to have all the alumni on Long Island remember this date, for we promise a splendid time. Let Ort Hicks and Carll Buhler know how many tickets you want for the dance, for they are on the spot to run it.

We would like to welcome into the fold, the members of the class of 1940 that live on Long Island. You'll be hearing from us.
