Word comes that Dr. Coon is a patient in the infirmary of the New Jersey State Hospital at Greystone where he is on the staff as you will remember. He is suffering from a complication of diseases and is very ill.

I was not able to take in the Dartmouth- Harvard game October 26 but know that Gaf and Weston were there and perhaps others. The Class of '89 staged an after- the-game round-up at the City Club of men from the Classes of '87 to '92 and we were represented by Billy Emerson and the Secretary. About twenty of us had a most enjoyable and interesting time, particularly enlivened by Robert Lincoln O'Brien '91 and John McDonald 'gopolitical experts who talked freely. Is it a sign that we are growing old that, so far as I could judge from conversation at my end of the table and from the afterdinner speaking, no one there had any interest in the fact that Dartmouth and Harvard had played football that afternoonat least it was not mentioned.

Arthur Ilsley has changed his address to 3825 Livingston St., N. W., Washington, D. C. This is written on November 6 which may account for my feeling deep sympathy for any one who has to be in Washington for the next four years.

Secretary, Longwood Towers, Brookline, Mass
