Salinger's death will bring a deep sense of loss to every member of the Class. On January 29, 1915 he was elected president of the Class and for 35 years, until his death on January 29, 1950, he served it with unfailing interest. His time, his advice and his money were always on call. We sent appropriate flowers and Lamprey and Weston represented the Class at the services. Driving conditions were such that the other classmates in this vicinity were prevented from attending to our deep regret.
I have reason to believe that the picture of Geiger which heads this section will be a great improvement over the one previously used and will give you an idea of how he looked within a week of his entering our octogenarian group. I am glad to report that Laura Geiger, after a severe operation in December, is at home and recovering nicely.
Word has come that Harry C. Allen's address is now Box 955, Henderson, New. What he is doing way out there I don't know, but will try to report soon.
