Defense Committees

Two ADDITIONAL sub-committees under the American Defense Dartmouth Group were named during November to report on civil liberties in war time and to handle correspondence. The members of the two groups were announced by Prof. Harold J. Tobin '17, general chairman of the Defense Group, as follows:

Committee on Civil Liberties in War Time—Prof. Erville B. Woods, chairman; Prof. Louis P. Benezet '99, Prof. Hugh L. Elsbree, Prof. Elden B. Hartshorn '12, and Prof. Hugh Morrison '26.

Committee on Correspondence—Alexander Laing '25, chairman; Freda S. Harold, Oliver L. Lilley '30, and Howard P. Linton '34, all of the Baker Library staff.
