While the skiing season at the Moosilauke Ravine Camp is in full swing, it seems paradoxical to speak about the coming summer season there. But we are happy to announce that alumni and friends of the College will have an opportunity of sending their boys (ages 14 and up) to the Ravine Camp for a short session of summer camp in July.
Ross McKenney, woodsman adviser of the D.0.C., will put the young fellows through a real course of practical woods-manship. Safe handling of firearms, instruction in first aid, nature study, camping and cooking out, fly-tying and casting, woodcraft on rainy days and an extensive acquaintance with our wild Moosilauke area will be part of the instruction.
This will be a practical camp experience which should prove especially valuable to boys who wish to work in a future season as camp councilors. Wholesome food and plenty of exercise go along with it. More about the summer camp in the March issue.
