To THE EDITOR: The following reports a new group activity by the Alumni in Boston. We hope it is newsworthy and by its appearance will call attention to the next meeting on Monday, March 25th.

DARTMOUTH SEA DOGS MEET IN BOSTON

There have been and still are many Dartmouth men who love the sea. Some of these men are fortunate to make boats their business, and others still fortunate in making a pleasure out of the sea.

Every summer Dartmouth men meet on the water and besides those regular "salts" around Boston and Marblehead, new ones are sailing into harbor each summer. Quite often a crew is made up of all Dartmouth men, or there may be some with a family, the junior crews on their way to Hanover.

New York could add a large number of boats to the Green fleet, as well as Long Is- land Sound, Newport, Cape Cod and the coast of Maine. Here in Boston several of the Dartmouth crew had lunch together in an effort to become better acquainted ashore and to plan a Dartmouth rendezvous in some harbor this coming season. The luncheon was held at the Boston Yacht Club, 5 Rowes Wharf. These sailors re-told incidents on various cruises taken together and luffing matches where one Dartmouth boat slid through or was blanketed by another boat.

These were all tales of summer activities, but even the frostbiters had their stories with a couple of Dartmouth men giving their regular winter Sunday experiences in Marblehead harbor.

The Dartmouth crew in Boston would like to have all other sailors join them at a luncheon scheduled for Monday, March 25th, at the Boston Yacht Club, 5 Rowes Wharf. Anyone interested in getting further details should get in touch with one of the following:
