JANUARY MARKED THE DEPARTURE of Bill Callihan '34 to Havana where he will uphold the interests of the First National Bank of Boston. Carl Ward '32, the new prexy, has done a bang-up job as Chairman of Membership this year and bids fair to complete Bill's term in capable fashion. The best wishes of the Club go to Bill upon his new assignment.
A capacity crowd enjoyed our annual showing of ski movies at the University Club on January 9. Since then we have been praying for snow to fall on our private ski slope at Groton so that we can try the Sun Valley technique on the home grounds.
On Sunday afternoon, March 17, a smoke talk will be given at the cabin. The March issue of The Trail will announce the speaker and his subject.
On Saturday, March 30, the Club will hold its annual Boston dance at the University Club. The tariff will be $1.00 per couple. A Marshard unit will provide the music. Jack Devlin '37, our entertainment councillor, will take your reservation.
