Pinch-hitter Crowley has certainly scored in fine style in the last two issues.

Bob Peck, at the head of the Latin Department of the famous St. Paul's School at Concord, New Hampshire, has been one of the outstanding masters as well as one of the most popular for many years.

Harry Clark and wife have returned to their summer home at North Weare, New Hampshire.

I am sure the entire class of 1898 extends its sincere sympathy to John Eckstorm in the death of his wife. John has two fine daughters who are a great comfort to him and who are very fond of their distinguished father.

Seth Pope has been laid up since April 23d at his home in Sandwich, Massachusetts. Send him your best story.

Ted Leggett has sent us his last Alumni Fund letter. Ted's record on the Alumni Fund has been outstanding among all Dartmouth agents. May our replies be prompt and generous. Joe Carney will now carry on. No better successor could have been chosen.

Bill Witte has been scattering sunshine among Dartmouth men on the Pacific Coast this winter. They are always delighted to see him.

We certainly shall miss those two loyal and very much loved classmates Clarence Sibley and Bobbie Brown.

Denis Crowley was the originator of the Frederic W. Robbert number. The Secretary has heard many appreciative remarks of this memorial to dear Fritz.

The University of California has recently published the last of Swift's studies on European policies of financing education. Fletcher stands first in this field in America, if not in the world.

Mary Ruth Swift is one of 71 seniors in a class of approximately 1600 at the University of California who has been elected to Phi Beta Kappa.

Ruth and Ev Snow expect to motor to Portland, Oregon, to visit their daughter Margaret, leaving around the middle of June.

Harrison Nichols made the outstanding speech at the organization of the new Dartmouth Club at Houston, Texas on March 6th.

Secretary, 57 Grove Hill Ave., Newtonville, Mass.
