Visitor of the Month

BASIL L. WINSLOW '20 Secretary of the Dartmouth Alumni Association of Northern California, whotraveled the greatest distance to attend the36th annual meeting of the Dartmouth Secretaries Association. His visit to Hanoverwas the first since he finished a post-graduate year at the Thayer School in 1921, andwas arranged as a surprise for him by themembers of his alumni association. Mr.Winslow has been secretary continuouslysince he settled in California some 15years ago and has for many years been theactive leader of Dartmouth affairs on thePacific Coast. His surprise visit was arranged with the connivance of officials ofthe Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company, for which Mr. Winsloiu is salessupervisor.
