Four-point George "Pinky" Conklin is one of those boys who, in the Yale vernacular, is "earning his fourpoint in life." Before leaving Tuck School, George gave up the fight and agreed to marry Leah Wright of Freeport, Long Island, his own town; and starting out in the wide wide world as a married man he became one of those Wall St. fellers who help you lose your money faster than you can lose it yourself—an investment counsel. Apparently Pinky must have picked the winners as often as the ones who failed to show, as the Guardian Life Insurance Co. proselytized him and he is now assistant to the president of the outfit, and in charge of their investments. Besides this he attends N. Y. U. four nights a week working for a doctorate, wears a derby and chesterfield, shows up at the Dartmouth Club for football broadcasts, and has two small Conklins—Sandra Dawn and George Bryce. Now, Bob Dickson, you see why Pinky doesn't answer your letters.
