"From 1881 to the present time, with the exception of one period of a few months, I have been engaged continuously in professional engineering work. At present I am connected with the Pittsburgh & Ohio Valley Railway Company, Neville Island, Pa., a subsidiary of the Pittsburgh Coke and Iron Company, producers of Coke with its numerous by-products, mostly pig iron and cement. I am still regularly and actively engaged with the exception of some slowing up due to a heart condition."

Since the death of his wife on February 27, 1940, he has made his home with the family of his daughter Marion, Mrs. Lea B. Perrin, 23 N. Grandview Avenue, Crafton, Pittsburgh, Pa.
