PERHAPS WE'RE A LITTLE late, but it has not been possible, up to now, to report the last event of the 1940-41 season in this column. On May 24th the faithful gathered at the D.O.C. of Boston cabin in Groton for the Third Annual Carnival Picnic of the Dartmouth Club of Wellesley. The weatherman was none too kind to us, but all of those present kept dry and warm and had a wonderful time. As to the proceeds, Treasurer Fran Tower '28 permits us to say that a substantial sum was forwarded to Hanover to be made part of the Wellesley Scholarship Fund. To General Chairman Buster Moore '20 and his able committee chairmen should go a large share of the credit for making this spring party a success.
Now to talk of the future. Dartmouth Night is to be November 6th. Even at the early date at which these lines are being written, President Don Wilbur '24 has been heard making the frank statement that Dartmouth Night in Wellesley this year will be something to make even the local Harvards, not to mention the trus- tees of Wellesley College, sit up and take notice. So all you people in and around Wellesley may expect big doings on the night of November 6th next. A later announcement will tell you just what will be going on, but anyway. .. .see you there!!!
