J. Walker Wiggin '3O, a newcomer to the New Hampshire House of representatives, has been named chairman of the judiciary committee of that body. His post ordinarily carries with it recognition as majority leader of the House.

Wiggin was admitted to the New Hampshire bar in 1935 after three years' study at Harvard Law School and the following year joined the firm of Warren, Wilson, McLaughlin and Wiggin. He has been active in local politics for several years and served as secretary of the state Cheney-for-Governor committee in 1938. This year he headed the successful Robert O. Blood-for-Governor committee in Manchester.
