THE ANNUAL MEETING of the Cheshire County Dartmouth Alumni Association was held at the Hotel Ellis on December 27 with Robert P. "Whitey" Fuller '37 as guest speaker.
The following officers were elected for the ensuing year: President, George Holbrook '28; Vice President, George Kingsbury '38; Secretary-Treasurer, Russell G. Putney '22.
Following short speeches by Doctor Hopkins, our oldest alumnus and the undergraduates present, Whitey made one of the best speeches in his career regarding the Cornell fifth down incident, and the general gloom in Hanover at the news of the departure of our coaching staff. Following the custom, he also received suggestions for a new coach, and several ideas were forthcoming.
