Oldest Graduates

ON MAY 13, Dr. Zeeb Gilman '63, Dartmouth's oldest living graduate, will celebrate his 100th birthday in Redlands, Calif. This points to the interesting fact that out of the ten oldest living graduates of the College, four live in California and the rest in New England. The birth dates of the other nine follow: Omar W. Folsom '69, Bath, Me., April 24, 1844; Henry A. Kendall '66, Somerville, Mass., March 29, 1845; Charles F. Ober '73, Manchester, N. H., March 2, 1848; Charles G. Johnson '7.1, Pasadena, Calif., July 4, 1848; Frank H. Hardison '76, Wellesley Hills, Mass., Sept. 3, 1849; Herbert S. Hutchinson '75, Milford, N. H., Sept. 15, 1849; Theodore C. Hunt '76, Canoga Park, Calif., Nov. 14, 1849; George Burbeck '75, Lodi, Calif., Aug. 4, 1850; and William W. Flint '7l, Concord, N. H., Aug. 16, 1850.

Charlotte Ford, alumni recorder, in her quarterly report on January 1 gave a grand total of 19,470 living alumni. This grand total was made up of 13,828 graduates, 5,851 non-graduates, 349 Medical School alumni, 25 Thayer alumni, 52 Tuck alumni, and other degree holders.
