Rochester, N.Y.

THE PAST FEW winter months have contained several good turnouts by the alumni in the Rochester area.

When the basketball team came here early in January to play the University of Rochester, we gave a luncheon at the University Club which the entire team attended. Ossie Cowles introduced the team members and, on request, gave us his version of the fifth down story. Extra entertainment was a stairway serenade by the Amherst Club who happened to be meeting also. Most heartening was the large attendance of fathers and sons interested in Dartmouth.

Since then there has been some luncheon meetings, the latest of which have been for the purpose of preparing for the annual meeting to be held March 21st when Sid Hayward will be present.
