Howland is losing his home after many years of occupancy: the state is taking over the site for a public building.

Mrs. Carpenter spent a vacation period in Hanover following the death of her sister.

The son of A. H. Ross returned from his Asiatic tour last February. In the interest of the paper to which he is attached he visited Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore and the Philippines.

Corwin's son Orland expected to be married soon after the Secretary left Tampa. The lady is Miss Margaret Wertz of Ninety-Six, S. C. Miss Wertz is a graduate of the Columbia (S. C.) Bible College. The young people first met at Camp Wyckliffe, Arkansas, a training school for missionary work among the South American Indians. After marriage the couple expected to sail for Colombia, S. A., for service under the auspices of the South American Indian Mission.

Carl Henry is building an addition to his mission school in West Tampa.

Wentworth writes (Apr. 3) from Mt. Dora that business at the Lakeside Inn has been off as compared with last year: other resorts in Florida make similar reports. He will spend most of the summer at his camp in the Catskills. Mrs. Wentworth had not been as well as usual during the winter but at time of writing was much better.

Gage will remain in St. Pete until late in May.
