Dr. William T. Merrill. Relatives and friends gathered January 26 to celebrate "Jiggers's" 89th birthday. He and his wife live quietly and pleasantly in their home at East Milton, Mass., next door to their son Chauncy Merrill '19 and his family. "Jigger received a telegram of congratulations from Hanover. He felt honored and was pleased to be remembered by Dartmouth.

Stanley E. Johnson. A letter from Mrs. Johnson informs me that Stanley reads magazines and books without the aid of glasses I need glasses and a magnifying lens), but Stanley omits letter writing because it is difficult for him to write legibly. (Others of '87 don't write too legibly.)

The Class Notes Editor went to Florida for a month's vacation on February 17, and will be at the Hotel Ormond, Ormond Beach, Florida, until March 17.
