ELEVEN BEAVERS were taken by Ross McKenney on his trapping trip in the twenty-seven thousand acre wilderness of the Dartmouth Grant the last two weeks in March. He was forced to battle blizzards and snow waist deep in seeking to reap the harvest of Dartmouth-owned fur. The yield from the beaver expedition will more than cover expenses, but with better conditions in the other years the Outing Clubs woodcraft adviser feels a profit for the College account could be realized.
