DARTMOUTH'S OBSERVANCE OF EASTER was featured by a musical program held in Rollins Chapel on Easter Sunday afternoon. Prof. M. F. Longhurst directed the Dartmouth Glee Club, the Nurses' Glee Club of the Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital, and the Junior Choir of Hanover in the singing of Easter hymns and anthems. President Hopkins gave a brief Easter message, and Captain D. E. Cummings, commanding officer of the Navy V-12 Unit, read the Lesson. The program was similar in form to the annual Christmas Carol Service, which had to be cancelled in December because of the flu epidemic.
