In the field OF "Money and Credit" (which was the title of one of his textbooks) Professor Leffler was an authority. His students in courses in banking, and in money and foreign exchange, found him a keenly interested teacher, cheerful and exacting, human, and learned in his subjects. His death this past month came as a sudden and sad blow to the community. Having taught at Dartmouth since 1919 his friends among the alumni are counted in the hundreds. The institution will miss him, but it moves on, his place in Reed Hall filled by others. Ray Leffler's associates in the official corps will miss him and will long remember his even good nature, his devotion to the College and to his teaching, and the warmth of his friendship.
