THE SECOND NEW HAMPSHIRE Bank Management Conference held at the School on May 16 and 17 was a distinct success. The topics discussed and the speakers were as follows:

At the final banquet session President Hopkins addressed the Conference on the subject, "Defense Against What" and W. Barton Leach, Professor of Law, Harvard Law School, discussed "Sabotage in the United States."

Graduation exercises for the 1941 class were held in Tuck Hall on May 23 Robert Clark '29 is on leave of absence from Strathmore Paper to do public rela- tions work in the office of the Chief of Ord- nance at Washington, with the rank of first lieutenant Lewis Putnam '24, a frequent visitor to the School, reports an interesting trip to Georgia for the purpose of surveying the granite industry in that state. . . . .John Wallace '36 and Richard Wallace '4O are with the Headquarters Battery, First Battalion, Camp Edwards, Massachusetts Harold Trefethen '27 is a captain in this outfit Recent visitors to the School included Duncan Farr '4O, John Manley '34 and Paul Marx '4O Carmelo Gugino '39 is now in the Army Air Corps in Florida A recent New YorkTimes item reports the arrival in New York of Earl Daum '25; we assume he is on leave of absence from his duties as Sales Manager and Director of General Motors South African Ltd., in Port Elizabeth Dean Olsen attended the annual meeting of the American Association of Collegiate Schools of Business at Minneapolis on May 1-3. . .. .Wesley Beattie '34 is with the Headquarters Battery, 209 th C. A. (A.A), Camp Stewart, Hinesville, Georgia.
