DR. CHARLES NELSON HASKINS, Professor of Mathematics on the Chandler Foundation, died at Dick's House on November 14 following an attack of coronary thrombosis. He was 68 years old.

Professor Haskins had been a member of the Dartmouth mathematics department since 1909 and Chandler professor since 1916. He came to Dartmouth from the University of Illinois, and before that had taught at Yale, Cornell and M.I.T., where he graduated in 1897. Dartmouth honored him in 1928 with the Doctorate of Science.
