ALEXANDER G. FALCONER, for 38 years an employee of the College until his retirement several years ago because of an accident, died of a heart ailment at Mary Hitchcock Hospital on December 27, 1941. He was 75 years old. Funeral services were held at his home on Lebanon Street on December 29th, and burial was in the Dartmouth cemetery.

Mr. Falconer, known to many Dartmouth men as "Alec," was born at Arbrough, Scotland, and came to the United States when he was five years of age. came to Hanover from Whitefield 43 years ago, and was employed by the College in 1903. He was a familiar figure in Richardson and Robinson Halls, and finally, before his retirement, in Reed Hall.

He is survived by his widow, two daughters, Mrs. Hazel F. Pennock and Mrs. Kathleen Yager, and a son, Arthur, all of Hanover.
