Publication Schedule
May 1942 The Editor

THE NEXT ISSUE of the ALUMNI MAGAZINE, June, will carry reports of class reunions to be held the middle of this month and accounts of the earliest commencement of Dartmouth's history for which the dates are May 9 and 10. There will not be any class notes in the June issue except for reports of reunions.

Because of the summer term of full-semester length and the need for publication of an issue of the MAGAZINE to bridge the gap in our publication schedule between early June and October there will be a mid-summer number which will reach Dartmouth men in early August. Full installments of class notes will be carried in that number and there will be a review of activities of the College in its first experience with a continuous twelve-month schedule.

The editors are planning publication of a survey which is now being made of opportunities for service that are open to men of all ages in such varied activities as military service, war industry, civil service, and civilian defense work. The cooperation of officers of the College and alumni in key positions in Washington is being given in this effort to produce a comprehensive catalog of requirements and op- portunities for all branches of service. This information has not been gathered by any agency in the country so far as we know. It will be published in an early issue of this magazine in just as complete form as possible.
