MAINE DARTMOUTH MEN have not enjoyed a formal meeting for several months. With gas rationing and practically every one engaged in Civilian Defense work it was deemed inopportune to call a meeting in June.

Frank K. Welch has been transferred to Boston, it being another step up the ladder in N.Y.A. We shall all miss Frank not only for his fellowship but he always was ready to advise and aid a fellow alumnus.

Capt. Albert Cleveland '15 has not been seen by the writer in many months. Word reached me that he is doing a grand job in Civilian Shore Defense work, and is taking special Naval Training.

Thomas A. Foster, our Alumni Council member did a very commendable job as president of the Maine Medical Association last year. He is at present State Medical Adviser for N.Y.A.

We shall endeavor to hold a meeting in the early fall. The Secretary will appreciate hearing from new men in the area who may not be on the mailing list.
