Tri-Kap Centennial
August 1942

JULY THIRTEENTH was the one hundredth birthday of Kappa Kappa Kappa. Founded during another summer session, in 1842, this society has remained steadily apart from national fraternity affiliation for a century, in spite of attractive offers.

Tri-Kap will formally celebrate its Centennial this fall on the week-end of October 2-3, Miami game. A display of historical material highlighting the growth of Dartmouth and Tri-Kap, and a commemorative dinner at which President Hopkins and others will speak are the principal events scheduled for an alumni homecoming. Prof. James P. Richardson '99 has written a history of the Society which will be published this fall.

All Dartmouth men wish Tri-Kap another successful century. Its members have always been loyal sons of the College and can well be proud to be members of what must be the oldest Greek letter fraternity of its kind in America.
