PHILIP SANFORD MARDEN '94 has accepted the invitation of the editors of the ALUMNI MAGAZINE to rejoin the board on which he served earlier as associate editor. His editorial comments are carried on these pages of Gradus Ad Parnassum this month, and we are grateful for his willing and expert help.
Mr. Marden first became associated with the board of editors of the DARTMOUTH ALUMNI MAGAZINE in 1920. For the subsequent 12 years his editorials, interpreting and commenting on Dartmouth and general educational policies, were widely read by the alumni. Upon election to the Dartmouth Board of Trustees in 1932, he resigned his editorial post. He returns with our most cordial welcome upon the expiration of his second term of service as an Alumni Trustee. A life-long newspaper man Mr. Marden recently retired as editor of the Lowell (Mass.) Courier Citizen.
