The 1944 edition of the AEGIS is now in preparation, under the editorship of Tom Beaumont '45, USNR, and is scheduled to appear this winter—possibly in December but more likely in early January. It will cover Dartmouth life and events since the last AEGIS appeared in December 1942, and in addition to the regular organization, athletic, fraternity and senior sections, it will present the fullest possible picture of wartime Dartmouth.
The 1944 edition of the AEGIS is being limited to 600 copies, many of them already reserved in advance. To be sure of getting your copy, send your reservation now to the 1944 AEGIS, Robinson Hall, Hanover, N. H. Books will be sent to home addresses C.0.D., but advance payment of $5.50, plus 50 cents for packing and shipping, is preferred and will simplify the huge mailing job which faces the yearbook's skeleton staff.
