Faculty leaves granted last month bring to a total of 73 the number of men who have left their work at the College to enter the armed services, government bureaus, or essential industries.
Arthur M. Wilson, professor of biography, is doing confidential work for the Office of Strategic Services in Washington, while Professor Ross Stagner, of the psychology department, has taken a position in a war industry. The Medical School has lost another teacher with the departure of Dr. John A. Coyle '24, who has been commissioned a lieutenant commander in the Medical Corps of the Naval Reserve. The Athletic Council reports that De Ormond "Tuss" McLaughry, coach of the Big Green football team, has been commissioned a major in the Marine Corps Reserve, and Edward G. Hoehn Jr., coach of tennis and squash, is a Ist lieutenant in the Marine Air Corps.
