AT BOSTON DINNER were Else Jenness, Win Nay, Hal Sprague, Jim Everett, Ed Shattuck, Joe Graves, Bill Murphy, Ink Taylor, Ray Gorton, Jess Wilson, Beezle Parker, Tom Foster, Maurice Blake, both the Class and alumni having a surprisingly large turnout under the conditions.

MRS. BEN WXLLIAMS has been elected trustee of Bradford Junior College, having graduated from Bradford and later from Wellesley in 1912 Mac Kendall says that he runs across Billy Williams, Bob Woodcock and Paul Albert once in awhile, and that Chicago air is keeping them youthful in appearance, at least Herb Woods who gets around the country as an AFL labor specialist, had some nice visits with Chan Baxter and his wife in their fine home at Tacoma, and adds, "Let me tell you that Chan is a substantial and highly respected citizen of that community."

THE DEATH OF BUNNY ARMSTRONG Came as a great shock to the Class for few Dartmouth men were better known or had more friends. .. .wartime space does not permit us to write all that we could about such a man... .he was ever "Bunny Armstrong" as we all knew him. .. .lovable, intensely loyal to the College, colorful, with a heart of gold, "The Mayor of Friendship, Maine" has gone on ahead and will be waiting to greet us at the gate with that infectious smile and a handshake.

ECK HIESTAND can be found at 130 S. McCadden PI., Los Angeles Jack Rich- mond is doing a good job with promotion of the War Savings Plan in N. Y. State Russ Palmer of Palmer Associates has offices at 215 4th Ave., N. Y. C Jack Dingle's new address is 34 N. State St., Dbver, Del.

THE COMING GENERATION. . . .Dud Meredith, Ensign USNR, is taking five months' training course at Harvard Dr. Harold Robinson is interning at Presbyterian Hospital, Philadelphia, while younger brother, Jim, attends Dartmouth Medical School. . . .both are ensigns in Naval Reserve, subject to call Charlie Kent who continues his versatile athletic career at Vermont Academy by playing on hockey team, has found time to become a licensed pilot and hopes to get some time in at Dartmouth before entering the service Dick Sherwin graduated from Navy indoctrination school at Hanover "Pat" Norton is in private school at Waterbury, Conn., and like her old man and sister Nancy is doing a good scholastic job

John Washburn with two years at Dartmouth and a 3.85 average, is taking a 22 weeks' course in Russian at Cornell under Army auspices Allan Fowler, authority on everything Cuban, is a onetime grandfather, Marshall Comstock a doubleheader in 1942 with Alison White and Carolyn Smith as his descendants Jack Jenness continues his busy career at Hanover and for the next few months you will see his undergraduate sports column in the ALUMNI MAGAZINE.

Lieut. Howard Fogg Jr., USA Air Forces, and Miss Margot Dethier, graduate of Bryn Mawr, are engaged Robert Reynolds, ass't prof, of economic math at State Teachers College, Greeley, Col., father of two children, and smart as his Old Man, was one of 30 chosen out of 3,000 applicants to teach Math of Celestial Navigation, awarded a lieutenant's commission, and is now teaching flying cadets in the air at Pensacola Navy Base Howard Pierce, who was training with the Army Air Forces at Atlantic City, got pneumonia and complications, was given medical discharge from Army, went home, spent two more months in bed at hospital and at home, with spinal punctures and treatments, is now on road to recovery.

Ben Williams Jr. and Jessie Ames Marshall who were married, Nov. 30, 1940, presented Mr. and Mrs. Ben Sr. with a granddaughter, Jessie Marshall Williams II on Dec. 5, 1942. It's Grandpa Ben now.

PINEO JACKSON, insurance authority and executive, in his Christmas address to Bankers' Indemnity employees, stressed the good that may come from this war in our fighting a common cause for the preservation of Christianity and civilization Horace Chadbourne is a ranger in Glacier Park, entrusted with maintaining and improving wild life and fishing in a large territory... . in winter he studies the area, wild life, maintains buildings.... in summer he watches over fires and tourists. .. .a charmed, delightful life in these hectic times... .and one which Chad loves.

THE LARRY BANKARTS intend to do some crop raising on their Norwich farm this summer to help the national food-basket. .... Several more of us will have good gardens before the summer is over Norton Cushman greets Fletch Burton with his dues check, "Here you are, Shylock!"... .Fletch, who is under terrific pressure as Rhode Island's Fuel Administrator, is doing a grand job as Class Treasurer this year, and merits all possible support from everyone.... as does Andy Scarlett with the Alumni Fund Andy wrote a Super-Bulletin for A 1 Dickerson when entrusted with the honor recently.
