THE SCHOOL YEAR ended on Saturday, February 6, when at the graduation attended by 153, President Hopkins presented degrees and diplomas to twentyfive and twenty respectively. The School year began on Sunday when the new bachelors registered for the second year, with twenty-three new seniors beginning in the first year class, representing fourteen states. Illinois sent four; New Hampshire and Massachusetts, three; New York and New Jersey, two; and one each came from California, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Minnesota, Ohio, Vermont, and Virginia, although again China is represented as a birthplace.

Bradley Long, Portsmouth, New Hampshire; Edward A Mortimer Jr., Chicago, Illinois; William C. Mussey, Rochester, Minnesota; Robert E. Nystrom, Peoria, Illinois; Earl T. Owen, Lynchburg, Virginia; Charles E. Pierce, Swanton, Vermont; Edward B. Price Jr., Bronxville, New York; Walter S. Price, Washington, D. C.; Charles D. J. Regan, So. Boston, Massachusetts; Louis D. Tope, Oak Park, Illinois. Again physicians send most sons, with nine; while educators are next.

The School and Hospital were represented during the past month at meetings as follows: Council of the New England Pediatric Society in Boston by Dr. Colin C. Stewart; American Triological Society at Hartford by Dr. John E. Murtagh discussing "Esophagobronchial Fistula"; American College of Physicians, New England Section, at Boston, by Dr. Harry T. French and Dr. Colin C. Stewart.

1882 CHARLES A. MORSE, LOS Angeles: "I am a native of New Hampshire, born in Salisbury in 1857; graduated in medicine on November 15, 1881; practiced in Newmarket, Rockingham County, for nearly forty years. I joined the State Society in May, 1882, and was on the Board of Examiners at Dartmouth for four years; and on November 17, 1898, I delivered the address to the graduating class at the 101 st Commencement in the College Church with President Tucker presiding." H. O. Smith '86 who sent this looked up the address, and says that it is good.

1910 COMMANDER CHARLES A. MCKENDREE MC USNR: "On February 23, 1942, I was ordered to Hospital at Brooklyn, and have been Chief of the Neuropsychiatric Service, which is an extremely interesting and important part of the hospital organization. Our material is both neuro and psychopathic and is derived from home stations, ships, and foreign shores. There has accumulated a vast amount of scientific data which some day I hope I may be able to correlate and publish under proper auspices."

1920 CAPTAIN JOHN W. STICKNEY MC AUS quondam cardiologist and member of the Cornell Medical faculty is at Bluefield, West Virginia. 1923 MAJOR THEODORE R. ROBIE MC AUS is at the Station Hospital, SAACC, San Antonio, Texas. *929 CAPTAIN ALPHONSE F. NORMAND MC AUS : You probably know that I have been in the medical department of the Army Air Corps since last Spring. I joined to do my bit along with my bomber, pilot brother in Dutch Guiana and my other in the armored forces. I am in the medical inspector's office here at Jefferson Barracks and our work sometimes takes us all over the West."

1930 MAJOR FRANK P. FOSTER MC AUS has gone from the Lahey Clinic to Miami Beach. 1931 CAPTAIN JAMES S. CULLYFORD MC AUS has been transferred to Dallas, Texas.

1932 CAPTAIN ARTHUR D. ECKER MC AUS can be reached at 52nd Gen. Hosp., A.P.O. 3346, c/o Postmaster, New York City. 1933 MAJOR H. CALVIN FISHER MC AUS gets his mail via 105 No. 53rd Street, Omaha, Nebraska. 1935 MAJOR STEWART ALEXANDER MC AUS, HDQ Western Task Force, A.P.O. 758, c/o Postmaster, New York City, sends greetings.

1938 LT. CORBIN MOISTER MC USNR was married on January 16 to Jean Smithers at Poughkeepsie, New York. John Milne and William L. McLaughlin were ushers.
