DOUGLAS E. WADE, instructor in field zoology at the University of Missouri, has been named College Naturalist at Dartmouth. On May 1, he will take over the position left vacant by the resignation of Richard L. Weaver last fall. Mr. Weaver is now engaged in conservation work for the University of New Hampshire.
Mr. Wade is a graduate of Beloit College and received his M.S. degree from the University of Wisconsin, where he held a fellowship for three years in wildlife management. He is editor of Wildlife News, published by the Wildlife Society, and in addition to his teaching at the University of Missouri is supervisor of habitat work on a 2200-acre area near Columbia, Mo. Formerly he spent two years in Pennsylvania making a study of trapping activities there for the Game Commission.
