DARTMOUTH NIGHT was celebrated in Canada at the LaSalle Hotel, Montreal. Dan Hatch '06 gave an interesting talk on the Indians of Dartmouth and their relationship with Quebec. "Cut" Tirrell '00 headed up the musical program. Dave Camp '22 paid a fitting tribute to the late Evan Woodward '22. Bill Terry '13 brought back memories of the "good old days" assisted by Jesse Hubel '14, Bill Dodge '29 and Rex Stollmeyer '29. We were sorry that Ed Wardle '99 of Grand Mere could not be with us because of illness—the same goes for Chas. Clarke '16. Chas. McCarthy '12 was forced out of bounds by a snowstorm somewhere in the Maritimes. Bert Thwing 'OB, at the last moment was cahed out of town.
The departure of men of the younger classes for the services and lack of Dartmouth Medics completing at McGill and Montreal hospitals has made heavy inroads into our association.
Our next meeting is scheduled for the Spring. It is hoped that alumni from Northern New York and Vermont, Toronto, and other points can join at this powwow.
