DARTMOUTH MEN IN SPRINGFIELD celebrated Dartmouth Night with enthusiasm and highly satisfactory results. Although our numbers were slightly smaller than usual, with Doc Martin '93 and Clayt Erwin '03 there could have been no let-down in spirit.

Incidentally we had two father and son combinations with Steve Martin '30 and Rus Erwin '35 keeping an eye on their dads. Roy Pollard '21 of Proctorsville was a new one for our list.

Aside from these, we had most of our old faithful group, Charles Safford 'OB, Henry, Flinn '14. Junior Bryant and Justin Bugbee '25, Pete Wilcomb '30, Gordon Ingram '33, and Harty Beardslee and John Lovely of '37. In addition we had as our guest Augustus E. Cole, father of H. W. Cole '12.

In view of the celebration in Hanover we did not attempt to get a formal speaker from the College. Series of stories and anecdotes, memories of by-gone days and prophecies todays to come, swept on in an unending stream until the lights began to go out. Then the group reluctantly dispersed, determined that the event must be repeated, so no . stories might be lost.
