MEETINGS OF THE Board of Trustees, Alumni Council, and the Secretaries, Class Agents and Treasurers Associations will be held in Hanover June 9-10. Last spring these key alumni groups met in New York and Boston and will this year have an opportunity to see the' College operating on its wartime program. It is hoped that in spite of the difficulties of war conditions it may be possible for a considerable number of members of the several groups to attend the week-end sessions June 9-10.
The Alumni Council program will begin Friday morning, June 9. In the afternoon there will be separate gatherings of the Secretaries, Class Agents and Treasurers. In the evening the Council and class officers will join the Board of Trustees to hear talks by President Hopkins and other officers of the College. Visits to Navy classes and activities and a double-header baseball game with Penn will be features of the Saturday program, June 10.
One of the vacant dormitories may be opened to house the members of the alumni groups with barracks style accommodations. Eating facilities in Hanover are taxed to capacity but it is expected that some special cafeteria-service arrangements can be made for the week-end. Programs for the separate and joint meetings of the Trustees, Alumni Council and class officers associations will include discussion of important matters relating to present and future alumni activity and special projects
J. William Embree '21 of Chicago will preside at the meeting of the Alumni Council June 9. Presidents of the other groups are: Secretaries Association, Henry R. Lane '07; Class Agents Association, James B. Reynolds '90; and Class Treasurers Association, Chandler H. Foster '15.
